We started because renovating shouldn't be a gamble.
Too many Sydney homeowners have a story: the quote that doubled, the tiler who vanished for a week, the shower that started leaking a year later. We heard those stories so often that we built a business designed to make them impossible.
Sydney Bespoke Bathrooms works under a licensed NSW builder, with one project manager per job, fixed prices agreed before we start and a waterproofing process we'd put our name to — because we do.

The fundamentals

Licensed
Every project is contracted and supervised under NSW builder's licence 318807C. You can check it on the NSW Fair Trading register any time.
Insured
Public liability and contract works cover on every job, plus Home Building Compensation Fund cover for work over $20,000, as NSW law requires.
Warranted
Our work carries the NSW statutory warranties — six years for major defects and two years for all other defects — backed by paperwork at handover.
Managed
One project manager coordinates every trade. Our plumbers, electricians, waterproofers and tilers are licensed, and they turn up when we say they will.

The layer we never rush.

Prepare
Substrates are cleaned, levelled and screeded with correct falls so water always runs to the waste.

Prime & detail
Primer goes on, then bond breakers and reinforcing at every junction, corner and penetration — where most failures start.

Membrane
A licensed waterproofer applies the membrane in multiple coats to the thickness the manufacturer specifies, beyond the minimum AS 3740 heights.

Cure & inspect
The membrane is left to cure fully and inspected before a single tile goes down. No shortcuts to save a day.
05
Certify
You receive a waterproofing certificate at handover, recording who did the work and to which standard.
